Caring for Creation
Our Commitment to God's Earth
Responding to the climate crisis is an essential part of our responsibility to safeguard God’s creation and achieve a just world. We join with other chaplaincies within the Diocese in Europe to do our part in limiting environmental damage.
This websiteprovides information about programs from the Diocese.
The Diocese is providing a platform where individuals can share experiences with others or ask questions regarding chaplaincy environmental life and planning. The next Open Door Session will be on 12th of March at 18:00 CET. If you are interested, speak with our Environmental officer, Jeremy Hotchkiss, or our warden, Diana Peterson, who can share with you the Teams link.
To assist the Diocese in their goal of measuring Carbon Foot Print and Reduction Planning they use the Carbon360 tool from Climate Stewards to capture chaplaincy's carbon data.
To support the use of Carbon360, they are running a number of Webinars to help us understand how the tool works. The dates and times of the upcoming Webinars are:
- Tuesday, 10th of February at 19:00 CET
- Thursday, 12th of February at 19:00 CET
- Tuesday, 17th of February at 19:00 CET
- Wednesday, 18th of February at 19:00 CET
Please contact Jeremy or Diana if you would like the ZOOM link for any of these webinars.
